Let us introduce ourselves, Rick & Jac.
You can find us maintaining and nourishing our wonderful produce most days of the week. For us, RJ’s was a passion project we couldn’t not share! (partly because there are so many strawberries we can eat!).

I worked in disability care through covid and was ready for a change, not sure quite what that was just yet, I started working with a new client. Every Sunday, I was excited to go to work again and I realised it was because it was gardening day at my new client's house.I loved it so much.
We built two raised garden beds to start with, then ran out of room, so we built two more and then four more. I decided it was the change I was looking for, so I got a landscaping apprenticeship and soon we needed more land to accommodate my ever expanding vegetable and flower gardens.
We bought our property together and RJs farm started to grow.

From being a chef in some of the best restaurants throughout my travels, I just fell in love with fresh seasonal produce and being able to use my skills to create a beautiful dish or preserve.

It has to be the strawberry chips I dehydrated and edible flowers I pressed to decorate my 30th birthday cake. It was fun & looked amazing.
In the kitchen, it has to be a tie between the small batch of Strawberry, prosecco and vanilla bean jam and the lemon & lime sugar syrup for cocktails, it goes so well in mojitos!
Rick
Honestly I just love processing any produce we grow and showing people what I can turn it into. What most people would throw away I turn into delicious products, we aim to have no waste. In all my creations I try to give respect to the product and let it speak for itself.
Absolutely! We are super excited to work with local businesses and get to know our community.
Eventually we would like to work alongside businesses to grow and produce custom orders for them. We have the ability to fill our tower farms with so many different seasonal fruit & herbs or any requests for boutique produce.
If we aren't in the garden or working at Preston Peak Winery, we're walking or playing with our two Alaskan Malamutes and Golden Retriever, Benny, Narla and Xena. Our evenings are spent experimenting with our produce in the kitchen.
We would love to become a wholesaler for vendors and growers in the area. We have plans to set up a greenhouse and install more tower farms.
Away from the products, we hope to open our haven up to educate others on the rainforest and open up more of the walking tracks.
We plan to work alongside Inspired Living QLD to offer rainforest respite care for our youth and offer NDIS care with strawberry picking, cooking classes and gardening advice lessons.
